I/T Security Firewall Analyst

Description:
* Reporting to the I/T Security Operations team, this position is responsible for the daily operations of network security systems inclusive of firewalls, proxies and intrusion prevention systems.
* This position is accountable to successfully introduce change into the network security systems as well as provide support of these systems.

* Administration of proactive and preventative system routines and activities.

* Candidate should have a strong security as well as network background with demonstrated experience in successfully managing these platforms.

Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of professional experience (2 years directly related to I/T or functional area) or equivalent combination of education/experience.

* Knowledge of MicroSoft ISA and proxy technologies

* Strong working knowledge of intrusion prevention devices
Working knowledge of security and networking technologies and concepts

* Checkpoint Firewall certification preferred

* CCNA certification preferred

* CISSP certification preferred
