How to Tell if a Data Entry Job is a Scam

Allow me to share with you job seekers all around malaysia, that no matter where you go for interview, NEVER consider those who ask you to take out your money from your wallet and ask if you have any money for the payment of their services. my story goes..

I found this particular job from starjobs online, which states “Data Entry Part/Full time contact Pn Hanim @ 2141xxxx” i forgot the number >_

Hi all … I am one of those ppl who paid for the so-called ‘Data Entry Job’. My curiousity got the better of me and I wanted to see what this ‘Data Entry Job’. I had initially thought that it was something like keying some data, but its not.

After I paid the guy the money, which is not much, less than RM 30, I got an email, exactly like the one Shiauyin posted earlier, but in Bahasa Melayu.

What this ‘Data Entry Job’ is this. After you inform the guy of the payment you have made to his bank account, he will send you an email with some attachments on some ebook by some guy about Profiting from ClickBank and PayPal, which I don’t find anything interesting. Another attachement on Forex secrets and some other baloney.

And some template for you to ‘advertise’, meaning how to con other people. Its up to you to set how much you wanna con other people. So, it’s actually paying RM xx to get materials to con other people.

So, then you are suppose to forward the people that you managed to con the stuff you got from the guy. That’s all. Data entry job ?! I sell my stuff on eBay Malaysia better lah.

So don’t believe “DATA ENTRY JOBS”. It’s all a CON JOB.

Hmmm .. I don’t know whether it’s ethical to publish the data entry con job website. Can someone tell me that’s is okay to publish here on the forum, the website and the name with the bank account no. for the ‘DATA ENTRY JOB’ con job ? At least I will be doing some good.

After i sent the email to this company…nothing was heard until today.
I am so upset abt it but luckilly i jz loss that 20 bucks compared to other victims as i am who lost in USD amount.
Pls tell your friend about the website and pass it on if possible that none of ur loves one will fall into an evil trap like me.

Just want to advice you beware of FOREX companies offering data entry positions. Actually its not, as their target is to lure us to invest in that company.I have encountered this twice.
Simptom situation is like this,You have to go short briefing, calculation exercises and few interviews.
On the last interview they’ll persuade you to invest like apply bank loan, bring your friends and etc. FOREX invesments maybe real but it got off the main point, that is we were looking for part time data entry job.
Some of you may encountered this situation so for those who not yet, just watch out OK. Till now Im still looking for part time data entry. ;p

Hi every one…i’m working around 4 year, in the time seek many of job or part time, to be cheated so many time. In direct sale, electronic toy, something MLM, work from home, selling product and etc. In my experience, i’m not say all direct sale company, but some time the company is small company, same with other direct sale will invite you go their seminar, talk so many how we can get rich, how to be millionaire…after that company gone already!!!haha…some day I seeking part time job in newspaper found it the job can work in home, just fix the part of toy can get RM20, woh…so easy! But firstly must pay the register fee RM88.00, at that time they say no anything chargers, but now no stock for me ask me wait until next stock coming, after that they say wanna giving the deposit of toy, only RM5 mah they say. But min 100 unit, if this really thing is the opportunity to earn money, that mean want to pay up RM500 for deposit, cash only no cheque no creadit card or etc. after payment they say tomorrow only can get the toys, next day they say so many people doing this job, all stock finish already, when next stock coming will call you, delay delay day by day, finally close shop, outside the shop many painting say cheater etc broke door etc, but i can’t do anything just can upset. One company is selling electric and computer product, you can get the cheaper price than market of company and sell earn profit, also the same must pay them first, for register fee and member fee, member fee is monthly renew around RM50 per month, but the process is I want sell 1 product I will pay the cost RM 1000 something for company first, but as i know the not cheaper like they say, almost same with market! Another case is some new company say new opportunity product, market is high demand ask me trade many stock can earn big profit invest few thousand, after that the product got many problem cannot sell it any more. Ah…1 company they will post in newspaper saying part time job just given flyer to do promotion RM50 per day, when start working don’t know yet, because the manager just let you easy sitting at office introduce, sitting at car doing survey, few day later, I know the real work is door to door sale! another almost same but is donation, table to table at coffee shop, street, shopping mall…this all my experience in this few year at KL, I feel many trap in city, before do the decision, do a marketing surveys, hear some infomation!!! As aimee say never consider those who ask you to take out your money from your wallet and ask if you have any money for the payment of their services. I’m agree!!!thank

After registering myself for data entry homebased. I was told that they employer will call me. After I call the company I was told to give them 3 more days and finally end of July 2007. Afterwards I was told the company I suppose to type was in financial problems. They will have to locate another jobs for me. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF ADVERTISEMENTS IN THE STAR PART/FULL ADMIN WORKS,DATA ENTRY NO AGE LIMITM NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. What they want is your fees like consultant $170.00 and so forth so be aware you do not fall prey to this. I am a victim of one.

I was looking for part time job home based and come across advertisment in newspaper. Went for the interview and asked to pay RM175 so that i can start in 2 or 3 days time. Another 2 friend of mine also did the samething. After that there was no news from the. We called n asking they are giving a lot excuse and do not want to give us back the money….. Anybody can help us? Can we make complain and to whom?

I agree with wakenabeb. We must do something about this scam company. I myself have been scammed with Top Universal Pyramic Enterprise. The thing is I didnt realize I was scammed until I came across this website. For those who got scammed let’s get together and do something about this.

we need support from others victim of fraud/scam company. We want to gather all the victim to make a petition or memorandum for further action. We have to do something and need to take first action before others been conned by these s***t companies…(maybe some of us just ignored the value of rM159.00 OR rM180.00 FOR THE FEES BUT beside that they enjoyed happily with thousands or maybe million cheated money)

I encounted the same thing too. Me and my friend went there and paid RM360. I went there to ask for a refund and they were giving excuse and said they have to ask from their management first. I think it is better that you go in a group and do not let them bring you into the room and talk , just make a whole scene in outside. That was what i do that day.

i thing i one of victim…, last week i have an interview kat Top Universal pyramic Enterprise and i already pay them rm180. The person incharge me is Hafiz and the next day, someone from that co. call me… i think his name is Haikal. he tell me that some college co. around bangkok bank n kotaraya would call me next week (22.11.07).
after i read this blog i really sure that aku dah ditipu…, well, lucky coz aku dah dapat keje…

How can I get a scam free data entry job

This afternoon En Salem called me reg. Grand Paramount Enterprise already start the operation. So, anybody was cheated can go to that office and refund the money back. I will go tomorrow morning….memang nak kene maki diorang!!!

selama nie saya taktau lak Mega Access Resource nie adalah company penipu. Saya dipanggil utk interview pd bulan 11 yakni pada tahun ini dan dijanjikan kerja sebagai part time data entry. Sama jugak yg lain2 disini, saya akan dijanjikan akan mendapat kerja data entry dari Sime Darby di Jalan Raja Alang dan sampai sudah langsung x dpt apa2 berita dr Sime Darby Jalan Raja Alang tersebut. Hati saya rasa lain macam dan apabila saya call En. Zack dr Mega Access Resource [Call Center], mrk kata wakil dr Sime Darby ada masalah dgn asignment yg nak diberi. Apabila saya call mrk berkenaan pada hal tersebut, mrk kata hal tersebut telah dirujuk, biarpun saya dh marah, maki hamun atau sbgnyer namun saya pulak yg diherdik oleh mrk.

Pada akhir bulan 11, saya pergi ke Mega Access Resource utk bersemuka dgn mrk berkenaan dgn kerja data entry ini, dn saya diberitahu yg saya tak boleh refund balik duit yg dibayar sebanyak RM165, mrk jugak mengatakan bhw mrk berjanji utk carikkan saya keje data entry ini..

Pada bulan 12 minggu pertama, saya ader menerima panggilan dr Mega Access Resource yg menyatakan resume saya telah dihantar ke syarikat dan saya tanya mrk “Apa nama syarikat tersebut?” dn jawapan dr mrk ialah “Tak tahu, dn kami just forwardkan shj resume En. Fawaz dan disamping itu jugak kami [Mega Access Resource] akan push-push syarikat itu tersebut”

Utk pengetahuan semua yg membaca, saya masih lagi simpan original resit, photocopy agreement antara saya dan Mega Access Resource. Kepada yg disini, apa yg perlu saya buat? Duit RM165 tersebut adalah amat bernilai krn duit itu tersebut adalah hasil dr keje Data Entry Part Time [Contract] sebelum ini.

Kepada yg akan cari kerja Data Entry part time d sekitar KL, ada cara nak tahu samada company yg offer keje Data Entry part time tuh sah ke tdk. Caranya mudah shj, salin nombor siri syarikat dengan nama syarikat itu sekali, sebagai contoh [Mega Kepala Cbai 1212123232-knk] dan sila buat rujukan di SSM [Jabatan Sumber dan Manusia] atau di laman web SSM.com.my dn lagi baik call melalui operator SSM

my sister and i went to top universal pyramic enterprise today and paid a whole RM360 for both of us. i did take precaution after watching the news on scams. but, things have been said and done! should’ve read this blog first. called the person SARAH instantly after reading this blog, and she said “biasalah…internet”. yeah, the money was for my sister’s initial tuition fees for her Masters. Dorang makan duit haram! huhu… would be nice if we get back the money. do reply to my comments here in order to make any reports or whatnots. thank you for providing us the information lads!

I paid them RM185 on 14 of January and till now ther’s no response frm them…i really need the money back…i’m stil having the documents n the receipt… is ther any way for me to get the money back…even if i cal them oso they r nt talkin properly…please help me.

To those who get cheated:
You can try to make a report to Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna. They handle scam cases.
Btw, some comment- it doesn’t make sense for you to pay $ to get a job, even if it goes thru agency. It’s the employer who pays the agency to advertise their job vacancy, not those who apply for the job. Nonetheless, a legitimate agency can only deduct your monthly salary for getting you the job, that is AFTER you started working. Even if there is any money to pay before starting a job, e.g. for medical check-up, etc. that is only AFTER you confirmed the job with the employer itself, and you can claim the money back from your employer on your first day of work. A legitimate employer should have allocated budget for recruitment. All in all:- NEVER PAY ANY $ FOR A JOB. ESPECIALLY THOSE INTERNET WORK FROM HOME KINDA OF JOBS - BE CAREFUL!

I would like to ask is Sigma Platinum is scam also? I called them yesterday and they are me go for interview today. The address is C-9-6, Block C, Megan Avenue I.

I went to Solar Vision today also. They said they will called me to sign agreement and have to pay RM182. Lucky I found this website and know the information. By the way, a lot of people interview same time with me.

Dear all,

I went for an interview for part time data entry job in Wisma Center yesterday morning. I saw the advertisment in The Star job. The company “Solar Vision Network” claim themself an agency that will forward your application to various companies that required data entry services, but you need to pay them a fee of RM182 as service fee, so they will help you on data entry job placement again free of charge within 1 year.

Then on the same day the person incharge contact me again and told me that there’s a travel agency in Wisma UOA required my data entry service. The wage will be RM 500 for 1 assignment. Each assignment contain 100 pages and need to be done in 12 days. She ask me to meet her at the office and provide neccesary document (photocopy I/C and fee of RM 182) on the next day. Each month will have 5 assignment which is equivalent to RM 2,500.

Then a friend of mine gave me this URL and I found the company listed as 1 of the scam company.

When I check again on the name card, they have specified clearly that the purpose of RM 182 fee is charge for :-

1) Consultation, Advice and Guidance Relating to career development
2) Admin fee
3) Provided CD Copy - Resume Drafting, Picture, A copy of “Consultation Agreement”
4) SHALL NOT TO INTERPRETED or ASSURANCE FOR EMPLOYMENT
5) The fee is NOT REFUNDABLE and TRANSFERABLE .

By looking at term (4) & (5), I think they have safegurard themself by asking each interviewee to sign an agreement that bound to above condition. In conclusion, the fee RM 182 does NOT GUARANTEE a job, and the $ is neither refundable or transferable!

I wonder why some of the listed companies in the “scam list” still allow to continue their operation?

I’m one of the victims that have been cheated by this lousy-ass company (Top Universal Pyramid Enterprise). I’ve registered 2 them since August 2007 n already paid RM180, and till now, still didn’t get any answer from them. when i call them, they ask me 2 wait n the client (yeah,rite!) will call me if there’s any job 4 me 2 fill in!

But guess what? Since August 2007 till now, August 2008…there’s no, at least one fucking phone call from them..when i called, they said that i need 2 cum 2 their office, so they can check my registration! what d hell is that? don’t they hv registers of their clients???!!

i’ve been waiting 4 1 years n i think it’s time 4 me 2 take an action against them…4 certain people, RM180 might be a small amount but 4 me, it’s still money n i deserve something 4 what i’ve paid 4….

Just now I had emailed the shelby requested for the data entry job which is posted here. He/She request me bank in RM60.00 to get traning material.
Is this a scam job also? I had reply the email to request the account number but didn’t get any feedback from them. After that when I click back the job, I found that this job had remove from the board.
Is that means, this is a scam job?

Yup, you are correct. The last email that I emailed to them had mention about my previous experience and they told me that they aren’t scam job.
Then I had mentioned that I don’t want report scam job again at http://www.consumer.com.my, every time I make the report also feel unhappy.
After that, no email from them. I guess they affraid me to report them out. If they are not scam, they shouldn’t affraid, right?
I wish those being scam, don’t try to scam others to get back your money. Stop the chain and announce their name and bank account loudly. It may avoid others being their victim.

i got cheated out of a so-called data entry firm too, at level 7 imbi plaza. just imagine me a naive student who just about to step foot on college, needed money deperately and innocently fell for the trap. maybe some of u think rm168 was nothing to lose, but it cost me my lunch money for the month to get to that amount! and they are so convincing! they even have a pregnant lady as their clerk! if that lady is really pregnant, the child wont be a good kid concerning how much scam money the mother use to feed the kid!

Well, guys after reading all the scam on data entry, it is true that all of them are scam. There is no job that u need to pay first then u get your assingment. They will tell u all the reasons for you to pay first.

well. guys dont let them get away with your money. I did get my money by going to the TRIBUNAL COURT. They charge you a small fee like $10-20. All you need is the proof of receipt. and get the forms. The addresss is 16 floor Putra Place, next to Yoahan the Mall. It’s opposite the PWTC hall.

Just wondering how can a company like this be on going for so long. Download form fr http://www.consumer.com.my / email: contact@consumer.com.my. Submit the form, pay RM5. Those sinners will return yr money b4 the hearing date. They tried 2b funny, make a din, tell everybody or anybody (even the cleaners outside) to tell others they r cheats - they will quickly give u a cheque. Everybody go break their banks. Hi all victims/ victims-to-be. I found a data entry job advertised in a newspaper. I’m staying in Shah Alam, and I commuted from shah alam to KL, just to take home the so-called ‘assignment’. After filling up my particulars, they interviewed me, and asked me to pay rm182 for their service charge. I was like what the heck??? Thank God I was smart enuf to tell that this is a SCAM. The INTERVIEW was talking like she was promoting a product, so fast i could hardly understand. They are a whole stupid asshole bunch of ppl who think we can easily get cheated by them.

try the math = they make an adverisement, costing them maybe ard 100++

Hah! I went to two interviews some time back, to SUCCESS ZONE and SOLAR VISION. Success Zone was the one on the 28th floor, room 28 right? They claimed to be hiring people to do portfolios for models, and the RM200 they ask you to pay is supposedly a ’security deposit’ because they don’t want their models’ details and pictures to be stolen and spread around the Internet. And they tried to convince me it’s refundable completely.

Funny… they didn’t have any pictures of ‘their’ real models on the walls, only celebs lke Avril Lavigne, and some cheap pics torn from magazines. Come on la…

SOLAR VISION had so many people waiting for the interview… breaks my heart to think of them all being cheated out of their money. Some were old people, that RM182 might be big money to them!

I got cheated by Mega Concept Access Resources. Everytime I called they keep giving me bullshit excuses. Even they guy Zaf made me a promise that he’ll give back my money by the 27 of Oct but when I failed to hear fr him, he told me he was on MC for 1 Week! That idiot liar. So anyway, I made a police report and went to the Tribunal aswell. I even called and told Zaf that I’m coming to see him and he said he’ll be in the office. When I arrived after running around town doing all this legal stuff, the stupid workers there told me Zaf went out to meet a client and I cant expect him to wait for me! I was like “What the f***!!!”. I came all the way and they were making a fool out of me. I could hear them laughing outside the room I was in and each time they came in, they kept slamming the door. The thing is, I’ve never met this Zaf guy b4 and there was 2 malay guys sitting in the office. I’m thinking tht he was there but he was a chicken shit to meet me! Anyways, I left after handing them a copy of the Tribunal. The next day I called Zaf and he told me he was in the office untul 6.15pm. I came to see him at 5 and they told me he wasnt there!! I dont told him to stop f****** with me or he’s gonna pay big time! I’m so pisses with there shitheads! My hearing with them is on 3 Dec at 9am. I suggest those of u who have been cheated to make the necessary reports and cause havoc. Dont keep quite and let them get away with it!

Am wondering why any of the companies hasn’t been reported to the police’s department of business crime (Unit jenayah perdagangan)?

All of these scam companies that’s mentioned here and another thread still exists until today.

From what I’ve read, in summary it is regrettably to say that these companies are protected by the law.

The main (and only) reason these companies are still around is that all of the transactions are bounded by a contract, which in terms, signed by a person in maturity of age (18 years and above),under the applicant’s own discretion, willingly, in the condition of, not being under a threat/blackmail/physical force to sign it.

As for the applicants not having guarantees of getting any jobs, or the fees are non-refundable in any circumstance has been clearly stated under their contract’s clause.

Unfortunately by judicial law, that contract, is legal.

Even if police reports are lodged, the scammers being brought down to a court, no way these scammers will ever be convicted due to the contract agreement.

Judging by the life-terms of these company, it is assumable that they surely are well-prepared for any situation that involves law-enforcement/legal action/ taken against them.

However, there are things that can be done against them:

1. Expose them. Widely.

To expose the companies’ activities through:

Offline:
the news medium: television news and newspapers–in which the latter would be ironic, as the newspapers–in a way–are partially responsible in helping the scammers publish their scam ads in the first place.

Online:
Send email forwards of the company listings with warning against them and let the public spread them. What’s done here at APT is good.

2. Cut them from their source.

These scammers are able to reach the public through printed ads posted in the classified section of a newspaper/magazine/any print publications.

- Why not inform all publication’s (magazine/newspaper) editor to refuse/ban these companies from publishing their ads at their publication?

3. I am not sure about this, but I wonder, should printed publication companies or editors REFUSE to do what is said above, (which would be even fishy huh?), if there’s any way to get a court order, under the act of threatening the well-being/safety of the general public to get them (editors/publication houses) to comply (banning/refusing publishing ads from the scam companies).

My name is Faizan.
I just wanna say that i’ve already joined the Coulomb Sdn. Bhd. company and i’ve paid RM1030 for it. Im not too worried about this company because after i paid for the registration and etc..they gave me a contract which they had signed and also an official receipt of the company.

So, right now i’ve already started my part time job with the company and it seems ok.

I’ve started working since 12/11/2008 and they told me i’ll receive my 1st payment after 35 days of working.

I’m willing to wait until i’ve received my 1st payment and if they do not pay me a cent, for sure i will take legal actions towards them.

I’ll get back to you guys if i have something out of it.

i went for data entry part time interview on 31 oct 08. until now, i havent got any ’so-called’ the job to do. unfortunately, i paid for the documentation service which cost me rm160. i paid to a girl with name MIA MELISA. when i called the company and want to speak to MIA, someone name Shahrul answering me queries. The MIA girl never answer the call. i think the name of MIA MELISA just a decoy. the guy just said, the company still looking for the job blah blah….later end up.. i will sakit hati. i dont know what to do. what if this situation happens to a person who really needs a job and rm160 really a big amt of money. how could the company trick us like that… what a shame!!

I found this company advertised in the Berita Harian which is like this :

I called up the number and spoken to Iris and she arranged appointment for me on 11 December 08. She gave me the address which is at the petaling street kompleks selangor but never mention the company name. So i asked her he and she said “TOP UNIVERSAL PYRAMID” then i asked her whether i need to pay anything and she said no. Ok fine after that i google and found this thread. so i decided not to go.

On the 12 December 2008, Linda called me as i did not attend the appointment. I straight away told her that i saw on net mentioning the company is scammer. She quickly said “yes i know about it as i also saw the thing posted on the net, well you know a lot of people can write anything on net, so are you coming for appointment? Otherwise i will take other candidate” i questioned again whether need to pay anything and she said no. I then told her to change the appointment to next week and she said can’t because the last day is tomorrow which is on 13 December. I said will go tomorrow.

Then i come back to this tread and read all over again and i decided not to go on 13 december Let her call me again and i will just ignore it hahaha i don’t want to waste my time go there and at the end when i get the job she ask me to pay. Which waste my energy and time

Shaya, i think better not to waste your time to go even they said no need to pay it’s just a tactic to convince you to come for the appointment and brief you anything that will make you interested in the job and at the end will make you to pay the documentation fees or what so ever they call it. wah..so many stories about this data entry things.. thats why my friends don’t trust me when i told them i’m doing data entry. maybe i just got lucky.

I paid rm30 for registration, rm100 for deposit (this one will be refunded after all the jobs done) to a person. not to a company. I have no resit, no agreement, nothing.

Your payment is monthly. Its 15 cent per page. It’s ok la. Just sitting in front of the computer, doing it at home. Its really convinience to me.

I don’t know there are so many companies doing this data entry. I also get this from my friend. Thanks to her. I trust my friend coz she always bringing back so many papers to key in. At first i just helping her. Then she told me, maybe i can make some money too. So i paid to that person RM130. So I start to collect my own job the day after. (That person need to verify the money first).

i can give u all her mobile number. if u interested. she will not call u/sms u because u r the one who want the job.

she started imposing the fees because people..so many people don’t know how to be responsible…ok. that’s why she imposed the fees.

This job u must get it done no matter how. its daily basis. for example,u take it at 11am, give it to her at 11am tomorrow. otherwise u will not get anything after that. Including your deposit! But u will get your payment for the job done before that.

People most likely irresponsible for all this kind of things:
1. Lost of the form.
2. Incomplete.
3. Mixing the form.
4. Didn’t finish it.
5. Didn’t return it.
6. Didn’t do it at all.
7. Dissapear. hahaha…this one i know someone who dissapear after taking 500forms.

She get punished for that. See what happen to her. So she start to take deposit & registration fee. People don’t value free things. She needs to keep record too. She just want to help, actually.

OK, if you can do the job, ok…call her. For first time i can see my friends and her friends can do 40forms per 3 hours. After u do it 3-4-5 times, u can get 100forms per hour.

This job, however, maybe until end of march only. After that, she will return your deposit. If you can do all the job nicely. No late return of the form. Complete it in time. Haa… surely she will return your money.

Only thing is that, this job is paid monthly. Hah…Its ok la. I can pay my rent, my bills, i can use it for fare to go working..so…its worth.

Dear all victims

I’ve also been cheated by Mega Concept and guess what…I got my money back!!!

So here is what I strongly advise all you victims out there to do. Don’t be lazy and let it go! Here is exactly what I did.

I made a police report for my own protection and made a report in the Tribunal. This is very important. U need to follow the legal procedure in order to get ur money back. These scammers are cheating ppl so of course they r afraid of the law.

U will be given 2 copies of the tribunal report in which one copy u have to give it to the scam company. Dont mail it..hand it in urself!

There will be a court date in abt 1 month’s time. The scam company will GUARANTEE not show up and the court will issue a legal report stating tht the company MUST repay ur money. If they dont, its a federal offence which involves a much higher punishment. They will also give you 2 reports and 1 copy must be given to the scammers. Again, dont mail it..hand it in urself to the scam company!

They will be given a deadline about 2 weeks to pay you. They will DEFINITELY call you probably on the very last day to tell u to collect ur bank draft from the company. Of couse while waiting u can call and scare them la..tell them ur going to take further action if they still dont pay u.

U can then bank in the check in public bank and it will definitely not bounce!

This is exactly what I did and finally after soooo much trouble..i got my money back from those cheaters! Please follow my advise because its not impossible to get ur money back. Following the law in this case pays off!

Hope this is useful to all of you and also let this be a lesson to all. NEVER pay for a JOB!!!!!

P/S A lot of the ppl in Mega Concept left..but there’s a lot of new faces. I even saw a girl filling up the application form and i told her its a scam co. Don’t waste ur time

I’m going to follow through making a police report at Dang Wangi police station and then to the tribunal. I have a couple people w/ me already wanted to make police report but the more people the better.

I went to this company the other day to ask politely for money back. Been waiting for 1 YEAR ! Paid the RM168 deposit a year ago and didnt even receive any call from them back. I’m the only one been calling them and everytime the answer is i will call u back.

So i went there to get my money back but they given alot of xcuses. And i manage to get hold of a very nice policeman who then later called 2 other policemen up to this office. With the help of the policemen i managed to get a hold of the company’s registration document and all of the staffs name and I/C. (The owner of the company is bornt in 1984!!)

I’m going to proceed for a police report and those who’s been duped by this company pls contact me so that we can arrange together for a police report

I called this company to ask regarding the data entry job. They ask me to pay RM990 and sign up a 3 years agreement with them. Besides that, i have to pay RM 50 in addition for dunno wat tax…
So, in total, i have to pay RM1,040 before i can obtaion an account to start work.

An account, there will b 30 entries given to u to key in. And you will b paid RM600 a month for that account.

A person can open as many accounts as u wish. As long as u pay RM1,040 for each of the account. And you will get paid for RM600 for each account.

This sounds rewarding. But, on the other hand, paying RM1,040 for each account!!!!
Doesn’t it seems too ridiculous??????

Btw, is there anyway that we can verify whether the company is a scam or not??

Actually, i am one of those who r looking for jobs to earn an extra penny. I saw some of those home based data entry job ads in the newspaper that promise to pay 400++ per doc. So, there was once i went for the interview at Imbi Plaza. The same thing, they asked me to pay RM180 for the processing fee which i didnt coz i believed why should i pay to get a job? I’ve once applied for online typist job too and the same thing again, the guy emailed me to bank in 180 USD into his acc which he said it would be refunded after i got my first mth pay. I later found out that it was a scam and i was lucky i didnt bank in the money. I came across another job which they advertised as home-based customer support job. I called and went for the interview at Wisma Lim Foo Yong, it turned to be a MLM company and they told me to pay RM 90 to get a licence to sell their products. I am lucky that i was never got cheated by them and i hope those out there who r looking for jobs, remember not to pay them a cent to get the job. They r supposed to pay u!

I heard that there’s a company (I don’t know the name) at or near KLCC offering similar type of data entry job. But have to pay RM180 first, saying that it is because we would be keeping the clients / companies document for the data entry. I haven’t registered anything, but would like to find out more.
