Painful Experience: I only have to pay RM20.00 into an account. Then after the verification i could get the tasks and begin enjoying the weekly payment of the tasks i done.

I am one of GMM victim. I’ve read from others in the web and found out we can filed complaint to Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna M’sia at level 16 The Mall. You can get the refund.

I once went there but the company closed.
I not be able to get my money back.
This company ( GMM ) is back into action. I just went there last month for the interview. Lucily I did not pay any money after I noticed something amiss. I told them that I go there for the money not to give any money. Suprisingly after so many complaint they still operating??????. How about the other co. located at Block C, 9th Floor just behind Ampang Park. Anybody knows about it?.Is it ok. The co. told me that they did not charge anything.

one of them is The Cobra Group PLC [you guys already mention this is scam company right], and yesterday got one more company name Regal Group Of Companies. i notice during my experience searching a job from jobstreet, got many company under this address…so is it a scam?..
Regal Group Of Companies, JAG Advertising….etc are in the same group of The Cobra Group PLC. I even know the directors of Regal Group and Cobra Group. It’s not a scam company but a sales and marketing company.

and attract ppl to bank in RM 20 to me,after i receive any payment i jus need to FOWARD tat e mail about ‘LATIHAN KOMPREHENSIF’ to them.
But it seem like earning a DIRTY money…
so i jus thought that RM 20 is been donated ;-(

i found the above website from the job title Home Based Promoter in AsiaPartTime job list…n the content is same wif wat was reported by HBC…i think it is something illegal and unethical…but y AsiaPartTime still allowed them to post it here?? i really don understand…

they advertised in the star looking for data entry typist,so i went for the interview and they ask me to deposit rm175 in order to get assigment from them which they claim the college around bangkok bank area and the college people will call me within 2 or 3 days time which will never happen lol.when i call them they will give all sort of excuse,so people,what they say is true.NEVER EVER pay money in order to get these so called data entry job.i,ve learn my lesson well.
Hi dlxneo! I m one of the person who been cheated by universal pyramic enterprise located in Petaling street. Its not only me but another 2 of my friend too. All of paid RM175. This company claimed that they are not modelling company but talent company which meet the talent girls have to the requirement of their client in TVC or print ads. This company looking for girls because they need girls to purchase their make up product namely SHADES OF BEVERLY HILLS and BERRYNE. First they said that they will provide training to them who are selected like from thousands girls they only choose 40+ and of course they would say, “I want to select you” or “You are selected” or etc. They would say that the training cost RM 2000 and it was sponsored by their company. The make up range from 350 to 800++.
However, going under the training doesnt guarantee girls to get job as it is a freelance, and girls can only wait for calls. Also they have something like agreement. I signed it, then later ignored it. I’m not sure if they would take action as they are scam co.

omg..i fell for those scammers (top universal pyramic enterprise)..i paid rm175 and yesterday their PR called me and when i asked which company around bangkok bank and he said he cannot tell..thats when i knew i’ve been scammed…but i just wait and see next week if that particular company will call me.well IF…

me and my friend also have the same experience with the universal pyramic company..
that was early last year..we paid rm169 or sumthing and they did call after 1 weeks and told us to wait for the company to inform us…
but up till now no respond..
i think they still operating..but now they’re looking for clerk/admin…

I got cheated twice.

Both also asked me to go for interview.
Both also told me that I have been selected.
Both also asked me to pay RM160.
Both also required me to sign an agreement which stated that ‘documentation and processing fees shall not refundable’.
Both also said that the company would call me before certain date.
Both also said that the company has down and would require more time to search for another company.
Both also did not contact me till now.
I get cheated by both company.

one of the way of advertising is go through forum such as Low Yat and Cari. I seen a lot of them. Even some of those scammer published their ads @ AsiaPartTime. No worry, I had removed them from time to time.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I went for the interview at Mega Access. It’s at 7-23, 7th Floor, Imbi Plaza. So stupid one la this company. Right after the interview, I knew something was amiss. Even the office also look like rundown cheap hotel. I only pay them RM 165, the clients pay me 300 - 500? This company survives on what then, Maggie mee ah?
Anyway, they told me the client they found for me is at Angkasa Raya Building, KLCC. The client is a travel company, but they didn’t give the name.
I checked on the Net, yes there are travel companies in that building, but I decided to check here just in case. Turns out, I was right, this is a scam after all.
I also found another one in Cheras, same way of doing things. This one is in 10-5-2, Prince Avenue Blk 10, Jln Bayam, Cheras. No doubt scam also.

I think i have been cheated too. I already paid the money to 2 companies. one is ‘Mega Access’ and another one is ‘Universal Pyramid Enterprise’. Mega Access told me that there is a job for me in Angkasaraya. Its a Travel agency. Until now i haven’t got any call from them. When I call them up they said that particular company in Angkasaraya is having a problem now. With the Universal Pyramid, they said I got the job in Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam. But till now, there is no news about it.

Painful Experience: I paid for the membership fee cost USD49.95 in order to get involve to the good paying part time job as easy as only copy and paste the data into a form. Sounds easy, right? But after i went thru every info in the member area, i realized that was only scam as the websites provided were not exsit at all. So, pls don’t get cheat by those good paying online survey or data entry jobs.

Looks like I have also been cheated by the company Mega Access Resources in Imbi Plaza which promised me a home-based data entry job within 2 days of signing the agreement where I had to pay RM165. The company had a staff called Liz who eagerly called me the following night after I went for an interview with her telling me that a construction company was going to give me the data entry job. After I signed the agreement, I was told to wait for the company to call me for a briefing a week later. Thereafter, when I followed up, a Mega Access customer care staff, by the name of Izuan said the construction company had cashflow problems and could not recruit me. I was told to follow up every now and then to see whether they have any other vacancy for me. I also asked for a refund but Izuan said the fee was to cover documentation charges, etc and thus not refundable. I have been calling over the last 2 weeks without any success. I also noticed that Mega Access advertised frequently in the Star Classified section but each time they change the contact person. The number they advertised is 21480046 while their customer care line is 21429962. I wonder whether any of those scammed by this company intends to file a complaint against this company with the Consumers Tribunal.

I agree. The consumer complaint web-site have lots of complaint abt this scam and I have thought of printing it out and distribute to those who went into that company for interview. They can’t sue u by this why cause its just a print out from the web and not created by me. Who knows they might refund your payment and ask u to get lost

I found them vide Star classified looking for data entry home based work. After the interview with GMM, they called me saying a travel agency confirmed tht there is assignment for me (RM500 per assignment)and asked me to pay RM159 for consultation fees. After paying them, no news from the travel agency. I called GMM several times but they give lots of excuse. Checked out from web and found out tht GMM is a scam but too late. I am going to filed a complaint to Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna M’sia. Some people have got their refund through Tribunal.
They dare to publish this kind of scam in newspaper. Is it still on the newspaper? When you get scam?
Yes they still advertise in Star (Clasified - job) everyday. Title will be Data Entry Full/part time. U will notice tht all of the contact person’s name is Malay. I went to their office on 5/09/07. I knew something is wrong the minute I step into the office cause it looks very old, no reno, no computers…but because i desperately need a part time and the amount they charge is not tht huge so I decided to give it a try.

although i havent been a victim of these scam companies but i ALMOST became one and the company that i called up regarding data entry was top universal pyramid enterprise. but coz i gave it a good thought on why i shud pay to to work, i was safe!
my conclusion is simple, what ever job u find on data entry.. just forget it. and also jobs which need u to pay a certain amount of money.. forget it also! all of it r scams.. be smart, spread the news to ur frens and all!
