Scam Review: Is WFHAsia.com / WFHMalaysia.com a scam?
Recently, there are two jobs posted on our job board. These jobs is talked about making money by joining WFHAsia.com and WFHMalaysia.com respectively. Our Scam Investigation team did a quick check on these websites. Here is the report:-
It is another Work-From-Home Business strategy that promises to germinate a decent income flow to the user of the system. It is available in five different languages and you are required to input some of your information to begin with.
From the beginning, a positive impression is created in user’s mind due the attractive home page it has. When you input some of your information such as name, country, phone number etc, you are taken to a page where you’ll see some statistical record.
Now as you move forward, you continue the journey inside this impressively well-designed web site. For the first time, you get to know that it’s about wellness product; and revolving around wellness industry. The web portal claims the importance and boom of this industry by instituting the following fact:
“The Wellness Industry is a new, exciting industry that is already achieving sales of $500 Billion in the U.S. ASIA, follows the same trend and has even passed the $500 Billion mark (That is an amazing $300 Billion growth in 5 short years). Within the next few years The Wellness Industry is well on its way to pass the growth of the $1 Trillion auto industry and the $1 Trillion PC industry.”
From these facts it is really pretty clear that this industry does have a future and that the web portal seems to be genuine, as its offering has got some basis. So, on the next screen we can see some testimonials of satisfied customer. If we proceed further, you will end up having a screen where you can fill out all the details to start as an active member.
However, as you can see at the bottom of the page that it is not actually free and the minimum amount you’ve to invest is RM 200. If you are not interested, you can back off at this point or you can further proceed. If you’ve successfully completed the form, you should be assigned a coach, coach name will appear in the screen. He will suppose to contact you within 48 hours. In the meanwhile, you can see a video sent into your inbox to get a general overview.
From our experience, it is a 99% scam site. I am sure you get nothing after you pay the RM200 for investment. They are trying to cheat you by showing all the unbelievable statistic. Once you get excited and pay them, then you are fallen into their well-designed trap. No return back!
Don’t believe all this "Too Good to be True" program. We are feeling sad to see all the victims report their experience to us. By reading their scam stories, you will know whether this WTFASia.com/WFHMalaysia.com is genuine or not.
A Sad Story of a Scam Job Victim
Thanks to Ms.Lam Poh Yee for contributing a true story of a scam victim. We found it very interesting and would like to share it with the community.
The Story
Once, a friend of mine who came from Perak, trying his luck to find a job in KL. Unfortunately, he fall into a scam that was being advertised by one Company ABC (not to be disclosed here). This company claimed that they can find a matching job for my friend if he join them for a fee, RM160. The fee basically covers the registration, resume production, an interview, and job search.
My friend paid them and the process began. First, they produced a resume for my friend and even burned it into a CD. Then, one of the self-claimed interview officer interviewed my friend and evaluated his skills throughout the interview. After the interview, the officer told my friend he would submit the resume to a ‘travel agency’ applying for the admin clerk position that promised a basic salary of RM1200/month.
They issued a payment receipt and a copy of agreement to be signed by my friend. My friend, being the victim did not know anything about the scam and signed the papers. He happily thought that he had found the right job as the company promised my friend would get the job within a few days. All my friend had to do that time was waiting for their call.
My friend waited and waited until one day the officer called and inform him that he had to wait for another few days as the company they submitted his resume hadn’t reply them yet. My friend started to smell the rat but then what he could do but waited for the next few days. The final result of this scam was that the officer called again and this time the officer informed my friend that the ‘travel agency’ they submitted had rejected his resume and my friend was at lost. Not only he did not get any job but he also forfeited his RM160 (which he borrowed from a friend).
This company is located at the heart of KL. Physically, this company appeared to be a professional company but deep down there is a scam behind them. The company is a registered company and that allowed them to operate without any disruption.
My friend lodged a report at National Consumer CC and until today he is still waiting for the judgement. However, I don’t really think that there will be any judgement at all. It is simply too difficult to catch them unless if the luck is on our side but with their cunning ideas, luck hardly is on our side.
So, what have we learnt here? Be careful when choosing a job agency. Do research their background, check if there is anyone else who has been using the service of this company and ask them their experience with this company.
How to Identify Scam Job Agency?
Job Agencies are very popular place for graduates to set a foot finding the right job. How many job agencies that actually deliver the real jobs to these graduates? Actually only few agencies that are truly real. So how to distinguish between the real and fake job agencies? It is difficult to know.

Our Asx is on Fired!
Today, we received an email from FBME Bank, Cyprus to request for removal defamatory statements in our Scam Job Review - BEWARE OF SCAM FROM TAIWAN - PART 1.
This email really surprise us as the bank really takes those comments seriously. We have no choice and remove the particular comment about their bank and the scammer - Scott Fitzgerald Pte. Ltd.
Basically, the comment is mentioned that one of the victim transferred money to one of the account hold by the scammer in FBME bank. He just posted the bank account, that is it. 2 months later, the bank some-how managed to find our post and send us this letter.
This is our first time to handle such case. I am wondering, do we get suit when a commentor posted some false information on our blog? It is impossible for us to filter some many comment and the validate one by one Is there any law to protect blogger?
Is "Myfastcash.biz - Online Data Entry" a Scam?
Myfastcash.biz is an online business establishment mainly concentrating on data entry type of online work. It promises an earning of around $1,700- $7000 per week and vows to take only first 200 people that registered with it.
The name of the establisher is happened to be Joe Kerz. The business offers the same inducements as the other Work From Home type of business. But before anything, we must verify it’s legitimacy as there are an umpteen number of fraudulent cases recorded already. Tips: always check the program with Better Business Bureaus (BBB)
Look and Feel
First comes the page design. Needless to say, it gives you the same look and feel of a regular scam site promising various kind of eye-catching dreams. It gives you images of some people who have been claimed to be very satisfied, it will give you pictures of paypal transactions and few system related images such as a mere out of the rack login screen.
No Free Lunch
No touch of professionalism you can find at all from any aspect of the page. Then the big thing, that is, is it free or not, and you see that you actually have to pay around USD 50, which is natural for any scam sites. After a while, to your utter consternation, you will see that this program, that is the owner actually vows to you that he will instantly fill your account with USD 60, while you are having to pay USD 50 to start, and the could have very easily charge you nothing at all in exchange of crediting your account with USD 60 as a gift only.
High Rewards
This is enough to prove the actual motive of the claimed owner. And obviously, the amount they promise, that is $1,700 – $7,000 is way too high comparing any legitimate work-from-home business. Too good to be true.
Hidden Identity
Also like every other scam site, it has no contact address, you can email them, but you can not know the office address or anything like this.
Further, it has another URL, ‘www.fastdatacash.com’, which it never mentions anywhere, germinating another degree of suspicion in it already suspicious approach towards the data-entry business plan.
Conclusion
Considering their risible gift offer, too high promised payment, the look & feel of the website, lack of proper address and slyly operating one single website under two different URLs, we can safely conclude that it is indeed a scam as many other.
Is “eDataJob.com-Work From Home” a Scam?
This post is guest blogged by Asif Karim.
eDataJob.com is another inclusion in the swamped pool of “Work From Home” / "Make Money From Home" class of Internet Money Making Circle! Though unfortunately there are actually many fraud companies operating around the Internet who promises get rich overnight kind of prospects, there are few legit ones also. The difficulty we all have is to determine the few legit ones out of thousands of these kind of money making schemes.
Which way does this newly included player-eDataJob goes ?
First of all, when you look at their home page, it strikes you with almost the same page-design as of many scam websites. The same coloring, everything basically, then when you scroll down, you see it is not free, you must pay to join. This is definitely a sharp indicator of their motive.
Then you go down a bit, you see they are promising like USD 30,000 (Isn’t it a way too high!) a month with some graphical display that can be found in any scam website. Just by looking at the presentation and the fact that it is not free, you can definitely conclude that it’s another scam offer as many out there.
Now, here is some strong logical groundwork that is a surefire indication of this companies unethical objectives.
- Check out, http://www.aboutus.org/EDataJob.com, you will find review about this site where it is clearly listed in community bulletin that one people had been scammed.
- Check out the “About Us” Section at, http://edatajob.com/faqs.html, it says they’ve been in business from 1999. SO supposed to be eight yeas right ? Now check out the ‘whois’ information for their domain at, http://whois.domaintools.com/edatajob.com, at the end of the page you can see that the Creation Year is 2006, not eight years back in 1999. Though you can not say that it IS 100% indicator, but this Creation Year is Indeed a worrying sign of their inherent bleak motive.
