Home-Based Work Scam - Mailing Assignment Opportunity offer
Nowadays, I received tons of complaints from the community regarding home-based work scam jobs. Thanks to Justin Wong, he shared a scam job with us. It is about "Mailing Assignment Opportunity offer" which offered by this company - "H@rry Business Solution".
It is a long email which written in a long sales copy format. Once I look at it, I know it is a scam job because REAL job will be written in a short and simple format. Here is the most obvious clauses that catch my eyes:
……
The registration fee is a ONE TIME payment of only RM185. We do not overcharge like other companies which require hundreds of Ringgit. The RM185 charge is only to cover the costs for preparing the whole package which will be sent to you including postage. There will be NO annual fee and NO other hidden fee whatsoever—just a one-time payment of RM185. We will fully refund you your deposit once you have sent back 50 orders according to our instructions. Besides receiving your full deposit back, you will earn RM1.00 for each and every envelope which you mailed out, for as long as you want (before and after 50 orders), while you will still get your usual earnings from this WFHP. Remember, you do not have to receive any order to earn RM1.00 per catalog which is based on quantity you do.
……
Fill in your details, attach the postal order (wang pos)/bank draft/original bank-in slip/ cheque for only RM185 payable to "H@rry Hin Boon Shang " or "H@rry Business Solution" and send your registration to:
H@rry Business Solution
What is wrong with the above messages? Look at the highlighted section, do you ever to pay someone to get a job? By right, you are suppose to get paid by working for someone. Just read through our tips on identifying scam jobs at How To Tell If a Part Time Job Is a Scam
Another catch we found is the address. If it is a real company, why never use their real address instead of using P.B.Box? I guess they scare of victim who look after them.
Guys and Gals, please beware of this kind of scam jobs especially during this school holidays periods. They are actively looking for victim from the community. Always keep in mind, "NEVER PAY SOMEONE TO GET A JOB".
Don’t expect easy jobs by staying at home by doing data entry jobs. If you really want to earn some extra pocket money for your holidays, take on those promoter jobs which is a bit low pay. Eventually, you will learn different knowledge which you never got to learn by sitting in front of the computer.
If you have any other scam jobs to share, please email me @ contact@asiaparttime.com. We will share it with the community.

i agree with Justin Wong on the H@rry Business Solution. Its a scam. The package I received was not as advertised. I paid RM85. I called them and asked to meet with them but they refused. I wanted to get their assistance on how to go about the business but they kept telling me to read the booklet they sent.
I feel cheated. All I wanted was to earn some extra money doing an honest part-time job. So to all of you people out there, be careful.
Who and how can I report this scam?
Yes. No comment. True. All con. Being conned. Waiting to con. Pop corn anyone? Best corn in town!
Feel free to contact me for some corn job.
A pressure to serve you.
You seems to have plenty of Scam Job Experience?
what do you think to stop these con-man?
Thanks.
Not really but only heard much. I only know of some corn job. Those that pops!
To stop these corn man, i believe we can’t really do much. Cause it is so corny at times. Simply irresistable mostly as if there’s a hand waving at you … ‘come to me… come to me…’
No forms required. Just need your preferences and certain option. There goes… works like a tornado.. the force created really sucks you in…matter of time… SUCKS! i am the corn man.
I am a member of HBS since 2005. In the begining when i started to do this work, i found it to be little hassle because need to go out to post the catalogs and do some typing altho not much. I earned a little in the begining n i follow the instruction. Later on i realised why work in this way because i can work for long-term. I worked for some other mailing companies before but never for long coz only for a while they give me the label to mail, then no more. I also use my own way to do the mailing work wif my past experience to earn more. But now i don’t do this anymore coz i started to earn money from internet. When i think back, i should thank tis company coz i learn something to earn money now wif the thing they sent to me.
Among many opportunities I joined so far… tis mailing assignment is te most trustworthy and it works for me. I achieved first 50 orders within first month I started work as instructed. Now I start to work on internet assignment and I found it suitable for Malaysian to work also. I dun tink tis is scam…
hey zoe,i would like to find out, does this mailing assignment really works ? how long have u been workin for them ? hope for a reply asap.thanks.
HEI, ARE U REALLY HAVE DONE THIS WORK?AND THE HARRY HIN BUSINESS SOLUTION COMPANY SEEMS TO BE FAKE ADDRESS.AND FURTHERMORE I PAID HIM RM189 to start the work…And for the refund he wants me to process 50 orders first.like bullshit only……..please advise me.
Yes, I had gone thru a few times on the package H@rry Hin sentto me. Sad to say, I have to ‘declare’ it is a scam. Basically it ask us to advertise in website or newspaper or other media, to get requiries from public then we will have to send what we had received to the new ‘victim’, and from there, we earn our money.
As for the data entry job, we are requested to pay additional RM185 to get additional info as display above. You bet I will pay again….
I dun tink Miu Miu actually understand how’s te system works n dunno ppl post here r really member or not coz seems like they dunno. There r few catalogs for us to mail out (dunno whether all catalogs te same or not for all members) n HBS said they dun allow us to use back te intro letter coz it is not right. Coz if we use the same letter, it will go against the law as chain letter. I email n asked them oredi. There r other catalogs for us to mail out n we dun need to advertise like wat u said… Common sense wil tell u tat if all members do like te same way like tat, sure alot of similar ads like it in newspaper already… I dunno u all but i only pay 1 time RM185 n i got mailing n data entry works.
Zoe,
Can share with us what catalog you are sending out?
It’s might be useful to clear all doubts here.
Thank you.
I just send an email to HBS and they required RM185.00 for registration fees.
The Harry keep going telling me that they are not a MLM company and not a FOREX job.
I think this is a scam job. Correct me if I am wrong.
I think HBS is a scam too. When i called, the guy promised RM1 will be payed to us per envelope filled and mailed out as they need more hands. but after payment of RM189, end up they gave us some mailing advertisement which we have to do ourselves. so basically they should have told us the correct thing at the beginning. + in the newspaper they wrote “PART OR Full Time Mailing Assignment RM6000. Email Name & Add: hbsbiz@gmail.com / 016-xxxxxx, 6xxxxxxx”
complete scam!!
i just applied to HBS and they said ive got to pay an initial amount of rm185..i need to know if this is a scam job:S
haw can i know this is not a scam.wat catalog that v must send?is the address provided?why must v pay the RM185???
when you need to pay to get a job, obviously that’s a scam. moreover it’s an online thing. i will never understand why some people actually trust this.
