Is online survey a scam?

i never done this kind of job before but i have look for many website that show this kind of jobs. it quite attract me. but in the final, i not that brave to try it as those survey need to pay the membership fees before start doing the survey although it is one life time paymment, i not hundred percent believe on it.it is quite a easy job to done as it is flexible in time. as i need to study and may have some changes of time in attend classes, so this kind of job quite attract me for earn some extra money. i hope that asiaparttime will offer this kind of jobs in the future. thanks.

I did one online survey for a US university. That survey paid US10 and to be shared with 2 persons. The other person was anonymous and I had a final say on how much I was willing to share with the other party. I finally got my cheque of USD6 and I have cashed out with our local bank.

I have also joined the Planet Pulse and I have thousand over points which I can convert into $$ but the payment has to go to paypal. Their point system is USD1 for 100 points.
I have also joined MyPanel and looks like the website is not in order and I cannot see how much I have earned. MYpanel pays RM1 for 1 point. I believe I have hit their min 15 points (RM15) in order to get paid. Now I have beginning to think MyPanel is not as trustworthy as Planet Pulse. First impression on their website is not good.

DO NOT PAY to get yourself registered for survey companies. All my registrations with the companies are FOC, even the ones from overseas.

i’ve been trying cash88.com since it is free n my refferal already got cash by it..u should try it as it only need ur effort..our point collected is not juz based on refferal but how often we spend time clicking the advertisemnt provided.u should all try as it is FREE..hope we all got paid at the end.

I think it would be a good idea to do a community website about online survey.

By the way, the reason I have to share USD10 with another person was because it’s part of the condition of the survey. Of course, I have the option to put up how much I am willing to share out. It’s like u need 2 persons to play a game.

many people say that online survey is a scam or a trickster who playing a fool but for me I still in questioning, by the way as long it won’t need us to pay deposit and cut from the money we earn then I can accept. Many say paypal not exist but for me I using paypal and I sure paypal not exist in malaysia but other country sure exist. Do you know how they earn money? They earn money by each transaction, they cut out 12% from the amount money and their real company is ebay. I currently doing some online survey and it free, so won’t hurt to try it for the person who have nothing to do. If interested just sent me a mail.

Well, i had joined more than 10 surveys companies since two years ago, and they are legit and 100% Free to join free to take survey of cause.

Making income by joining surveys? Well, not really, some surveys has geographical restrictions and thus makes SEA members loses chance to earns more survey points or rewards.

These companies usually reward their panel members after the member collect enough point to redeem rewards. such as cash through paypal, Amazon.com Gift Cert, Cheque and etc.. About international cheque, from what i know, the local bank will deduct fees and charges from the cheque, thats like deducts our earning yes, but not by the surveys companies.

So far so good for me. Yes, i did gives whatever information they need, such as names of family members, ages, my ID card numbers and etc during registrations or first survey.. What do they do with my details?

If i am not wrong, they need it to categorize their panel members for their clients, who are their clients? Well, companies that making product business.

So, have i receive anything yet from what i ‘ve join? Not really yet because i do no have enough points yet.

Back to the point, to answer you question, ‘Is online survey a Scam?’, well, my answer to you is, most of them is not, be cautious on those which ask for amount of fees to join.

well i dont know which one is trust worthy should i opt for planet pulse i was first opting for opinion place.co but they are only for US. and i am from india so i am just looking for some other way.
