Time Management Tips For Students

, It is 11pm now, where is my homework? How to finish my homework? I guess everybody will have these problems during your college time. Do you think time is never enough for you to get everything done? Blame yourself why always running late? Here are some tips for controlling of your time and organizing your life, so become a productive person:

1. Make a "To Do" List Every Morning.

our daily to-do list will keep you moving towards your goals on a daily basis. Take 10 minutes every night and make a to-do list for the next day. Then, start to prioritize each of these tasks. I would suggest you to try on Mind Mapping on planning your To-Do List. At the end of the to-do list, highlight the rewards for accomplish all the tasks. It drives you to complete all the tasks.

2. Use Free Time Wisely.

Get some reading done on the public transport ride home from school, for example, and you’ll kill two birds with one stone.

3. Dare to say "No"

If your boss asks you to work on a Friday night and you have a final exam the next morning, just tell him "No". Of course in a nicely way. I think he will understand it. Keep your short- and long-term priorities in mind. Studies always come first!

4. Do the Best Job on Right Time.

Figure out when is the most efficient time for yourself. Most of the people, the first 3 hours after your sleep is the most productive time.Thus, do those tasks that need a lot of brain processing.  

5. Get a Good Night’s Sleep.

Running on empty makes the day seem longer and your tasks seem more difficult.

6. Become a Taskmaster.

Figure out how much free time you have each week. Give yourself a time budget and plan your activities accordingly.

7. Don’t Waste Time Worrying.

Have you ever wasted an entire evening by worrying about something that you’re supposed to be doing such as completing a hard schoolwork ? Was it worth it? Instead of woryying, just do it.

8. Keep Things in Perspective. Don’t over commit.

Setting goals that are unrealistic sets you up for failure. Can;t dey that high goals will push you work harder, but don’t overdo it. Once you failed, you will depress and get yourself in a worse situation.

9. Be able to be Flexible.

Unexpectable things always happens such as sickness, car troubles); You need to be able to re-schedule your time when necessary. When you need help, you should know who can lend you a hand.

The above tips will definately drive you to use your time wisely. It helps in building a good study habits based on your personalize lifestyle.
