Requirements:
• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor\’s Degree in
Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or
equivalent.
• Internship duration of at least 3 month(s).
• Experience in XHTML, Javascript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques.
• Developed efficient AJAX interfaces with knowledge of available AJAX libraries and frameworks (e.g. YUI, DOJO, JQuery, Prototype, etc.). Demonstration of previous work is preferred. You should be able to point to at least an AJAX-based web apps that you’ve built and be prepared to discuss them.
• Experience in Ruby/Ruby on Rails preferred. If you are a Java fanatic, but open to other programming language we still want you!
• Experience with MySQL, including query optimization and tuning
• An understanding of how to write highly scalable applications
• Experience writing web applications served from Linux environments
• Ability to work on projects both independently and as a member of a team
• Passion for the customer.
• E-commerce experience a plus
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
